Some days you just have to get in the car and drive somewhere. A few weekends ago Tyler and I decided to take a day trip to Stillwater, MN. The weather was a couple degrees warmer than the previous weeks, so we took that opportunity to do some walking around. If you have not been to Stillwater, MN before you are missing out! This cute town is full of amazing restaurants, stores, and the best antiques ever.
Tyler and I ate at a remarkable restaurant called Lo Lo American Kitchen and Craft Bar, where I ate the best roast chicken lettuce wraps with ghost pepperjack! Tyler enjoyed a gorgonzola bacon jam burger with home cut fries, the fries were to die for so I ate most of his (no shame). After lunch I dragged Tyler’s butt around several antique stores. These antique stores are so impressive; each floor had multiple floors of beautiful and unique furniture. I am obsessed with mid century furniture, but unfortunately the prices of the antiques in Stillwater are a bit out of my price range, I guess I’ll stick with my IKEA furniture for now. I did manage to spot a beautiful antique Polaroid camera with an adorable leather case so snagged that for under $10.
Tyler and I ended our perfect day trip with a candy store stop, and filled up a bag full of our favorite candies for the car ride home.
